Lab Research Day 2025

In late June, we held our Lab Research Day 2025, which was designed to promote collaboration, innovation, and connection in our group. Everyone was encouraged to step back from their individual projects and explore the bigger picture of our lab's research.

On Day 1, we explored our overarching research focus and identified everyone's strengths, weaknessess and spirit animals (this included fox, blobfish and horse). Everyone in the group had a platform to share and discuss a fresh research idea.

On Day 2, we had a team building activity - a treasure hunt - in London. This was an great for strengthening our collaborations and friendships in a more relaxed setting, and also for seeing the competitiveness of lab members emerge.
